September Sunday session

Yesterday we went for a Beautiful Autum walk and picnic in Heaton park. The weather was dry and crisp, perfect conditions! It was so busy, so many families out with their children, Grandparents the lot. Myself and Gary couldn't help but think of the opportunities to capture families having fun together on a Sunday afternoon! We almost felt the need to go over to people and ask them if they wanted us to photograph them......but we held back! so instead we indulged in a spot of capturing our own son, in which we got great pleasure out of!

BuBbaloo business cards

We are very excited to be able to have our business cards!! We are so pleased with them, the back contact details are still in the process of being designed - but we are eagerly awaiting the finished product! All of our work has been Illustrated and designed by our incredibly talented Friend Charlotte Cooke. Her work is just fantastic and there is more to come so keep your eyes peeled for our website designed also by her. Little Miss Naomi

This morning, nice and early we had the privilege of shooting this little beauty, Naomi. John and Bek are friends of ours and they obviously have good jeans, because look how freaking cute she is!! It was a real wake up call for myself and Gary, shooting a moving, Clingy 1 year old is alot harder than we thought! but we captured some really precious photos of her. CUTIEPATOOTIE! My headbands worked a treat, and she kept it on, well...for a short while! Her eyes are just fantastic! what a little model. Well done Naomi!!

Location, Location, Location...

Im in LOVE with these photos. Beautiful moments come and go too quickly. Im so lucky to have so many precious moments captured with my son. (Thats what i want for other people to have!) A family walk is perfect for a location shoot. Gabriel once again loved it and he takes a great photo! Myself and Gary love these photos, they sum us and our business up! Moments i'll forever treasure.

Alex's Shoot

Today we shot Alex, my friend Joannes little gorgeous boy. He is 3 weeks younger than Gabriel. He is such a cutie. Its his Christening tomorrow so he was on good form! Although we are finding that babies are very clever, and know when they are in front of the camera. They don't half make you work for that smile - but its worth it! We managed to get some gorgeous piccies of him, and of course Gabriel couldn't help but join in on the occasion, so i have added a couple of his shots at the bottom. oh! we also got to try out some of our new props we brought today, YAY! looking goood.

Bubbaloo's first shoot

Today we have made some progress, Slowly but surely we are getting in the studio and getting shooting and who best but to photograph, our very own beautiful BUBBALOO. He played along very nicely and even managed to sit up on his own on the basket....aww. We have been immensely inspired by Peekaboopictures.com and would love one day to be doing work like theirs! - don't mean to toot my own horn but pat on the back to my husband and i, not too shabby for our first days work.
